Hello!
I’ve been taking a break from the blog this past semester, but now summer is here. I want to return to the original platform that started this all. While social media is fun and easy to use, the website brings a necessary focus back to my portfolio work. Not to mention that keeping up with 5-10 other sites gets a little exasperating. I’ll still update them, but the main website comes first from now on.
So what’s been happening since December?
I taught a semester as a sabbatical replacement for Printmaking classes along with some of my usual teaching load. That made my semester busier than usual. However, free time was put to use in the studio. I made some progress on a lot of projects, most of which I posted on other sites like Instagram and the Facebook fan page. I will curate the best photos for future blog posts in an attempt to bridge the time gap of the last few months.
Now that summer is here, I have three weeks of pure studio bliss, then my summer arts camp for June, then the rest of summer of more studio bliss. I’ll also be working serious hours on the blog again, queuing up posts like a wizard! You can see all my serious efforts below with my research and planning. I’ve got my to-do lists going with business girl tasks all listed up! There will be email newsletters! Things are getting serious.
